Tailored Running Plans for Success

At Fortified, we understand that every runner is unique. That's why we offer tailored running plans designed specifically for your goals and fitness level. Our plans incorporate rest, strength training suggestions, and gradual increases in distance to help you stay injury-free and achieve your running ambitions.

Convenient Online Coaching Options

Embrace the flexibility of online coaching with Fortified. We use the platform VDot to input all customized workouts, and those sessions appear on your watch the morning of your scheduled workout! Virtual coaching sessions adapt to your schedule, ensuring you receive the guidance and support you need. We provide feedback on your runs and adjust your training plans in real-time to keep you on track. 

Proven Injury Prevention Techniques

As a Physical Therapist with decades of experience, injury prevention is my passion. It is better to put out fires before they start. Running is a high impact, repetitive sport that can oftentimes lead to a plethora of injuries if not approached carefully. As a lifelong runner and athlete, I have had my fair share of injuries and I wish someone would have shown me the techniques and strategies to prevent these setbacks. At Fortified RRC, we will implement proven injury prevention techniques and drills to help you run (or function) safely. A thorough assessment and/or gait analysis will identify potential issues, allowing for the creation of a proactive plan that includes specific exercises and strategies to keep you healthy and on the road. 

Balanced Approach to Fitness

At Fortified, we believe in a balanced and holistic approach to fitness that includes strength training, flexibility, proper nutrition, sleep, and recovery. Every body is different and every mind is different; the key is finding the right combination to achieve the goals of the individual and to do so safely, with longevity in mind!

Run Coaching

Customized Run Coaching - $150/season

This service includes a detailed phone consultation to assess specific needs, goals, and considerations. It encompasses up to 20 weeks of a training plan but does not include any weekly coaching or changes in the plan. Distance can be any distance from the 800m to ultra distances. 

Run Coaching Plan + Daily Coaching - $130/month

This service includes both the plan and any schedule changes that may arise for the duration of the plan. It offers daily workouts for up to 20 weeks. Weekly checkins and unlimited chats via the coaching platform are included.

Run Analysis

Using a treadmill, and some simple software, we can analyze the running or walking gait quickly and effectively. We look for specific markers to rule in or out any asymmetries and dysfunctions of running form and mechanics. Running drills and specific exercises are provided based on the findings in order to create a more efficient and safe gait. Running is a high impact and repetitive sport; small tweaks in mechanics, coupled with strength training and a solid training plan can really be a powerful combination when it comes to keeping you doing what you love.
